Teaching Faculty

Women instinctively know the power of gathering in community.

It is with that thought that the following women have been asked to share their unique knowledge & wisdom with the Prenatal Kriya Yoga Home Study Course. Each has wonderful insights to offer, that round out this in depth training.

Amy Jensen

Amy’s formal study of astrology began in Goswami Kriyananda’s courses at the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago. For Amy, astrology is not just data, but a living science that is meant to be experienced breath-by-breath, day into night, season after season. She understands natal charts as a symbolic map of our karma, and an opportunity to understand ourselves and others more objectively and compassionately. Amy is married with three children and lives north of Minneapolis. She is an artist with a degree in fine arts from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. She is a student of Swami Enoch Dasa Giri, is participating in Steven Forrest’s Apprenticeship Program, and Noel Tyl’s Master Course in Astrology. Nancy Britton

CYT, Business Manager

Nancy has been teaching yoga for 10 years.  It is the variety of classes and students that she teaches that keep her inspired. Classes range from a gentle chair yoga class to vigorous vinyasa classes. Nancy has a strong belief that you do not have to be on a yoga mat to find your communication with something greater than yourself. She feels that Nature gives us the best opportunity to connect to our true selves. To bring this into a reality, she has created several businesses: Yoga Hikes and Full Moon Yoga for Goddesses. It is through the experience of her 30 years of business management, that she is able to utilize those same principles to building successful yoga businesses.  She now partners with Camella Nair to  organize and develop yoga programs, co-host retreats and lead special events. She is the Business manager for Aqua Kriya Yoga and Prenatal Kriya Yoga. She loves blending her business background with yoga and vice versa.
